BHATINDA
JUNCTION REVIEW
For someone who wishes to
relish Punjabi food and plunge into its culture cannot find a better
platform than Bhantinda Junction, located in Koramangla, Bangalore.
The restaurant has the
ambience that replicates the atmosphere of that of a Punjabi dhaba.
There are khaats
placed for the customers for their seating, a mural of Royal Enfield
Bullet that is very popular amongst Punjabis, there are also
paintings and pictures of eminent Punjabi personalities like Bhagat
Singh and Gurdas Mann, and the best contribution comes from the songs
that are played in the restaurant, which include famous modern
Punjabi songs and Punjabi folks.
The restaurant serves both
vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, with the most famous non-
vegetarian dish being butter chicken and the most famous vegetarian
one being kadhai paneer. The serving is generously sufficient to fill
the stomachs of around 2-3 people. The prices are very reasonable and
affordable. The quality and hygiene of the food served is indeed
commendable, moreover the simplicity in the preparation and
presentation of the food is widely applauded. The restaurant serves
no alcohol instead sticks to the traditional drink of Punjab- LASSI,
which finds a special place in the heart of every customer.
Apart from the climbing
three flights of steps to reach the restaurant and the slow service
during peak hours, a visit to the restaurant is worth the wait.
I would personally give
Bhatinda Junction 4 out 5 stars.
